This is the Holiday Crowd Detection Feature Presented by Google

Rintokusmiran.com | This is the Holiday Crowd Detection Feature Presented by Google. During the holiday season, Google is adding several new features to Google Maps that make traveling collectively more efficient. These new features were announced in today's blog post.

A new area occupancy feature provides information about how popular a location is, while the app's catalog tab is published globally to provide more information about local stores and amenities such as malls and airports.

Google Maps is also expanding its product tracking functionality to more stores in the US and is working on making restaurant reviews more detailed.

Area occupancy is an extension of the information Google Maps provides about the density of public transportation and the popularity of certain stores and locations throughout the week.

Now, instead of just providing detailed information about specific locations, Google Maps will be able to provide information about how busy the area as a whole is.

Google hopes this feature will allow users to avoid or track down crowds if they want a festive atmosphere. Google says Area Busyness will be rolling out globally on Android and iOS for the holiday season in the US.

Meanwhile, the Catalog tab will be available for all airports, malls and public transit stations around the world for which Google has data. Shows amenities such as airport lounges as well as parking and shopping spaces available in locations that often appear as one on Google Maps.

The app can then provide detailed information such as opening hours and customer ratings. The Catalog tab will also be available globally on iOS and Android.

Service restaurant reviews also get more in depth with more information on price ranges. It also makes it easy to add information about amenities such as outdoor seating and delivery options.

Google Maps is also expanding the product pickup feature, allowing users to track the status of their orders and then share it with the store when they expect it to arrive for pickup without leaving the app.

The feature first launched earlier this year and has since expanded to more than 2,000 stores in 30 US states, including Kroger Family stores like Kroger's, Fry's, Ralphs, and Marianos, according to Google.
